Creativity and Cognition 2017 ======================= The 11th ACM Creativity & Cognition (C&C) is the first of the conference series to be run in Asia. C&C is an interdisciplinary conference, bringing together artists and scientists, designers educators, and researchers. We seek to understand human creativity in its many manifestations, to design new interactive techniques and tools to augment and amplify human creativity, and to use computational media technologies to explore new creative processes. We welcome submissions from researchers and practitioners, from artists and scientists, from designers, educators and decision makers. Proceedings Description --------------------------------- The Creativity and Cognition Conference provides an international forum for a) the discussion of the study of creativity in an individual, in a group or organization, or in a particular cultural context; b) discussions of methods to foster creativity though the design, development and/or deployment of pedagogy, of technology support tools for creative work, or of environments and systems of support for creativity; c) research reports on empirical assessment of various aspects of creativity and cognition; d) explorations of new or only partially explored intersections in creativity such as personal creativity in everyday life, the role of emotion in creativity, brain event scanning and recording etc.; e) artistic work that explores and reflects on the nature of creativity, and human expression; and f) social engagement, user participation, maker/hacker culture on innovation and digital entertainment and aesthetics of interaction.
